I've developed a strange rash on my eyes, neck, and now forearms opposite of my elbow. It's extremely itchy, dry, and red. My neck has become scaly and irritated as well. I'm questioning PG as the culprit since I've already narrowed down every other source of irritant. Can anyone tell me if this sounds like a PG rash? I only vape high VG liquids, 75%+.

Although my reaction was different (difficulty breathing, extreme exhaustion, sever stinging sensation in my throat), I would definitely try PG free e-juice. Open Source Vapor sells high quality, affordable PG free juice and are the only place I'm getting my juice from now.

Since I've discovered I have issues with PG, I've cut it out of my diet. For years I was getting strange cuts in my mouth and would feel like I had a tooth infection unless I used Listerine (no other brand helped). That issue went away soon after I stopped using tooth paste with PG. I can't believe there isn't any kind of advertising outside of the vaping community about PG allergies.

Most don't know an if they have Allergy to PG and just Assume. When changing to All or High Vg, many also change flavors/suppliers.

Doctor that Vapes says look for Hives as a sign of an Allergic reaction. Scratchy Throat, heavy lung feel are not a clear sign of an Allergy.

Step one - Try Low Nic, FLAVORLESS and see how you react
Most of us have been consuming products with All the ingredients of e-liquid for a long time. However the body may need time toad just to Vaping those products.

I get all kinds of strange hive inducing allergies. They're very hard to pin down. They can start out of the blue from things you've used your whole life without a reaction. I have even developed hives from sweating. I would think if it's vape related you would have a reaction to the juice if applied directly. Test your juices. A drop or two on the back of your hand. If it doesn't rash up, then it may not be the culprit. In the mean time, antihistamine and don't scratch!

Doesn't really work that way. Topical exposure to a potential allergen doesn't compare to inhalation and absorption through the mucus membranes. One potential symptom from inhalation exposure to PG is intense, traveling bursts of itching, typically on the extremities. That actually represents nerve damage going on from the exposure and absorption from inhalation. (In extreme cases like exposure to PG based anesthesia it can result in numbness and loss of sensation in the arms and legs that can take weeks to months to recover from.) It's not like you can rub PG on your nerves to see what happens...
