Hey there everyone! I have recently purchased a kangar protank 3 after reading some good reviews....... I AM VERY UNSATISFIED! Out of the two addys that came with it, one my mod is telling me that it has a short, the second will work for about an hour then it starts flooding and i get a ton of juice in my mouth, i have also noticed the second one leaks horribly, and im talking i filled the tank before work barely vaped and the tank was empty. Has anyone been having these problems?

Protank 3 was all bells and whistles and more problematic than.... ? Stick to the PT2. Remember there is no magic solution at the end of the rainbow.

You took the words right out of my mouth the Pro tank 2 is what you should be vaping on. Sorry about the troubles your having. The pt3 is garbage. Well from what I hear.

I had great success with the PT3 until today, I had the same problem with leaking and a mouthful of juice. I happened to be going to a local vape chain that my friend is the operations manager for and he said it could just be that addy. when I got home I changed it out and i worked like a charm. I have a 2 also and love them both especially with the aero base

Juice in mouth with clearos are due to negative pressure in the tank. Mostly caused by tight draws. A loser draw can cause positive pressure but will also cause less juice flow depending on the viscosity of your e liquids.
The aero tank with the adjustable are flow would defiantly help.

But I just stay away from them lol I like my genni's and rda's never once get a mouth full of juice. And a more satisfying vape

This is odd. I am fairly new to vaping and recently picked up a Protank 3. It has been pretty much problem free other than a rather airy draw and annoying whistle with the connector that came with it. That was solved with the air control valve off of an Aerotank. Even when the juice is low I haven't had a flooding problem once.

I do have an aero base, actually 3 of them. They are awesome. I use them on all my PT's. I change the wick and and that seem to solve the problem. I have trying my hand at rebuilding them but I have been all thumbs. my coils look funky, they either leak or they are so dry all I taste is burnt cotton. But I keep plugging away I am going to the store tomorrow to purchase a wire coiling gizmo from artistic wire. Also someone in a thread on rebuilding gave me some advise on using another tool and I'm going to try that before buying the tool.

If your using cotton then coil around a drill bit or screw driver then thread cotton through.
Cilica you wrap on it. And when you get better you can do the diamond coil in your Pro tank. uploadfromtaptalk1397878995967.jpg
sry this is the only photo I have of the Dimond coil. To lazy to fix the photo too lol

I'm going to try some new things tomorrow. Right now just reading some posts and vaping away. I am new at this and don't know a lot about building coils. I have a multi-meter but don't have the slightest idea how to use it (it was given to me). I just test my coils in my MVP 2. I have watched lots of videos. Some say yes to cotton, some say silica. I have plenty of both. I just want to taste my juice without getting a mouth full of it. I need the taste to keep me from eating. Last time I quit I gained 30 pounds in no time. This time gave up smokes and soda and have lost 15, but when I can't the juice I start eating and for a restaurant manager that means I can get fat quickly.

Just try not to buy to much all at once. I know a lot of ppl who do and in the end get disappointed with the product. Building coils is an art and the more you do and get the practice you'll get better over time. Congrats on quitting smoking and welcome to the vaping community.
I'll take a photo of my multi meter on the setting it should be on. Brb

Okay it should be on this setting and measure out your leads like so.

Mine is .3 you minus that from your total resistance of your atti.
when you measure your atti red to the center post and black to the out side of the 510 connection. You can do this to your coils you before you install it into the head of your protank. If you find your self building a lot like I do you can buy a resistance checker like I did.
