Hello, recently got myself a protank 2. Worked fine with the brand new coil. Once I rebuilt the coil, it seems it doesn't want to make a connection with my itaste v3. I've rebuilt PLENTY of coils for other tanks so I have plenty of experience. I noticed I had to very slightly pull out the little metal post that slides inside the rubber insulator to get it to make a connection which is something I've never had to do with protank 1 or mini 3. 2nd problem... It keeps flooding. This problem I can't explain..

I'm a pro at rebuilding these. I use 30ga kanthal, 10-11 wraps around a small screwdriver (from a glasses repair kit), gets me around 2.3 - 2.5 ohms.

For wick I primarily use peaches and cream cotton yarn. I remove one strand and put the remaining 3 strands through the coil, trim the ends, put it all together, and works like a champ!

That is strange cause they both can use the same base. A shot in the dark is that the PT2 is leaking is that it isn't holding vacuum so it just drains through the bottom I'm assuming. Take the PT2 totally apart, removing the 2 top and bottom orings and clean the rings and where they sit. You could have a chunk of crap under the oring or they just aren't seating properly. Make sure the glass tube is true, a bit of warp or bad cut could also make it leak.
