So I just got a new Patriot today and for some reason it's not firing whatever I do

Initially I used 10 wraps of dual nano coils and made sure that the wires in the center coil are bent to the opposite direction, .55 ohms, but it wouldn't fire when I tried it on my mech with a fresh battery. Thinking that maybe there's a short somewhere, I decided to remove one and refire it, but still nothing

Nano coils after the fact:

After that I decided to build a single micro on a 1/16 drill bit at 1.00 ohms, and it still won't fire!

Am I doing something wrong? Or is the Patriot I got potentially defective? I've never had any problems creating nano coils or micro coils at all, so this is a bit frustrating for me :(

do you have a multimeter?
is the center pin adjustable on your mod?

Yes, I would never use a build I made without testing it on a multimeter first.

The patriot only has adjustable screws at the top but I can't adjust it to manipulate how the bottom contacts with the pin on my mech. It's very similar to a nimbus or most 3 post rdas as far as i know

What mech device are you using? magneto? is the center pin free floating? 2 piece adjustable? fixed?
To me it sounds like your center pin isnt making contact.
If you have a nice mech with an adjustable pin, just tighten it up.

I'm using the Magneto V2 that has a fixed top

Tested it out on a friend's mech, and it works! I guess this means I really need to get myself an upgraded mech :/

Thanks for all the help!
