Problems with TV and 510 cartomizers?

To all:

Maybe I'm just not doing this right... but I have been using TV with 510 cartos... and having bad luck overall. I hear people talking about refilling 20 times, etc. and I'm lucky to get 2 days out of a carto. I'm topping off... is it the juice? I have 4 flavors... one is 70/30 PG/VG the rest 80/20 PG/VG... and the flavors are:

Butter Rum
Tin Box Mint
Pina Colada
Atomic Cinnacide

Mostly hitting the PC and AC now... often doing OK until end of day 2, then getting BROWN coloring (burnt liquid) and the batting becomes "clogged" when I top off, juice kinda sits there.

Is this juice tough to wick? I just got into this vaping thing, and on everyone's enthusiasm COMBINED with my quest for HUGE flavor, went ahead and bought a ton of TV juice. Sure hope I can get a better life out of my cartos...

I get the same thing on my Geoff's Blend but it's soooo good I don't care. I use a dental pic to scrape the batting from the side a poke it a little to break the top up a little, that helps the liquid soak in. Even still I'm only getting 6mls out of a carto before it's done. I get the feeling it's a sweetener thing but I'm just guessing. My cough drop has had Noooo issues and that car to has been going strong for about 10mls so far an still looks brand new.

Boge 2.0, like I said it's so good I don't care, just sayin. I get about 6mls out of it wit GB. Which is one day for me.

I've been using cartos for several months and tv all along and have been running into same issues. I think its the carto manufactures I think they'vegone cheapo on us. I used to get a good week out of them now I'm lucky if I get 3 days. But nothing has changed as far as my juice is concerned. I think the cartos have cut corners so we buy more.

I agree, but I think the crusty stuff I'm getting is like a sugar varnish like thing, again it's not gonna keep me from my GB

GB does seem to take it's toll on cartos as well as atties. I've given up on using the CE2's for more than a day or two at the most. It is a known fact and has been discussed before.

Even the Cisco LR 1.5 atties dont stand a chance vs GB but that's not going to make me give it up either. Small price to pay imho.

I have been getting around 4-6 ml out of a carto, but the convenience is a no-brainer for me. Somehow I could even justify one or two cartos a day for my favorite Tasty Vapor flavors, but I do seem to be searching for a better deal on cartos constantly. Where are you guys buying your cartos? 501s or 808s, doesn't matter to me. PM me if you don't feel comfortable posting here

I get mine from litecigusa and they definitely hold up for a while, are well priced, and shipping is insanely fast. I get more mileage from the LR cartos with TV juices. I get the 808 cartos but I'm almost 100% they have the all of the other threads as well

I buy 510 carto's from Bill at vaperstix -- he posts great sales here on ecf --usually x% off and free shipping. He usually has boge regular and LR 510 carto's
(and i don't work for vaperstix...just a happy customer!)

I normally buy my Boge LR cartomizers from PureSmoker. I've had great experiences with them!

They sell them individually at $1.49 each. That's the best deal I've found for them so far.

I know Geoff won't mind (I hope), since I turned him on to IKV carto's. These are far superior than any other I've found. They are so popular they can't keep them in stock. But the good thing about them, if you get an order in, they normally will last until you can place another order when they're back in stock. They have also put a limit on the number you can buy, 15. That allows for a lot more people to get some and new people to try them. My Tasty Vapor juices (most all coffee or variants of coffee) are mostly dark liquids. I easily get about 10 ml out of each carto, some a little more some a little less. Awesome Cartos with AWESOME juice!

I have watched the filler in these carto's 510, 801(Fusion 510/801 connection), 808's and even though the juice is dark as the juice is used up the filler returns to white again. You can see closer to the end of the carto life the filler is slightly tinted. When the draw gets too tight, I toss it.

Another note, I always after removing the caps (condoms) I blow the carto out from the battery end and wipe both ends down before putting them on my mods. That clears the center post out so you can see light through the center. If you can't see light through the center, something's not right!

I've got some dual coil cartos coming and the new go go. The dual's are supposed to produce superior flavor. We shall see! And the new go go cartos hold 3 ml of juice! 1300 mah batteries hoping it will succeed my true blue ego. I needed another PV like I needed another hole in my head!

Wow! You guys need to try these dual coil! Their 1.5 to 2.0 ohm so you'll want to use an ego bat or better on em. They are long and it took 3 condoms to fill it! They hit like a mother! And tons of flavor and vapor. They fit kinda tight with the cone so the draw is a little tight but with these you get full vapor and flavor so it doesn't feel like your wasting your efforts by hitting it harder. With the two coils you have to make sure it doesn't run dry. And on the first fill let it sit about 10 min to let it absorb. No burnt taste like other 1.5's just a nice full hit. Makes TV juices even better if you can imagine that! I got 2 boxes in the mail today and after my first fill I bought 4 more boxes! These may be our answer to the crappy carto issues! These are a goldmine!
