Ok so I got this baby in today. I'm loving it so far. Been using the standard ce4 atomizers x2 that it comes with. Loving the birthday cake and monstery energy flavors I received as well. However, when I try to connect my iclear30 or iclear30s tanks and vape , all I get on the screen is check atomizer. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there's something I'm maybe doing wrong or missing.

Don't be afraid of lifting the pin on the Vamo, it's actually quite long. You're not going to break it. In fact you could pull it all the way out if you were so inclined, not that you need to. You'd just find that it's soldered to a white wire. Handy bit of info if you ever need to fix the rubber insulator under the pin. :)

take the battery out of the vamo, find a paperclip or a thumbtack or a sewing needle, make a little L shape out of it ( paperclip works best) and work the tip of it under the pin and lift gently just a tad. Another thing to do is remove the atty from the Vamo and do a check for the resistance, if it says the same thing as when the 2 other attys in question do, then you can safely assume the attys arent making contact with the center pin... :)

Ok so I managed to get my ce4 clearomizers to work again with it, but not the iclear. I even pulled the pin down on the iclears to complete the connection and it still says check atomizer whenever I do. Any suggestions on my one set of tanks will work but my iclears won't?

EDIT: Also, I thought for a second maybe the iclear tanks I have aren't compatible, but I have saw several videos of people reviewing the vamo, and they all use either iclear30, iclear30s, and iclear30b tanks so that isn't the issue.

Oh ok I see how it works, but my firing pin in the vamo v5 looks nothing like that. It's way smaller and it's such a tight squeeze that even a small screwdriver the size of a sewing needle cannot fit down to ease it back up. EDIT: Here's a pic see what ya think. That sucker is down in there lol.

The pin on your Vamo has been forced below the insulator. I have several Vamo's and had this happen from a tank that had its center pin too long. It's going to take some work but I would try a mini straight blade screwdriver. If all else fails try to raise the insulator and that should bring the pin up to a level where you can separate the head of the center contact from the insulator.

I went online and compared your picture to one I saw online and they look very similar (though your pin may be recessed just a little more). Check out this thread to see if your problem is addressed: Just got a Vamo V5/questions?
