Definitely what anha said. It is a shame that you just got it and have problems, I had the same thing happen when I screwed my Magma on too tight attempting to get it to sit flush. I ended up replacing the insulator with a rubber washer (Danco 60 from Home Depot), but it was a pain to get on.

There are threads around here that recommend using other things (maybe dental floss?) under the pin that doesn't require removing the stock one. Can't remember.

Yeah I'm trying everything, and my stock ce4 atomizers that came with it work fine, but can't get my iclears with 510 connections to fire. Tried every suggestion I've ran across, and I still cannot seem to get this darn pin to move up lol. Tried a thin razor blade, a micro screwdriver, even a very small sewing needle, just can't get it.

From the pic it looks like you will have to push the insulator toward the outside as you scoop the pin from underneath with your flathead screwdriver (pin is like a T). Use the top of the connector as leverage and go around the pin like you are opening a paint can (gently though). It will rock back and forth and seem like it could just pop off but it won't.
