GET BOTH! The V3 last me about 21hrs straight vaping on the AW P17670 battery, with the ICON I get about 4hrs off of the AW IMR 14500 batts. Both batteries fit the same charger.
The V3 is about an inch longer than the ICON-- when in use it isn't that noticeable-- what is, is the heft of the unit... there's a big diff between the 2.
Vapor production for both are identical straight off the charger, so if you like small performers get an ICON.
If you want to only charge your batt every 2 days or want an occasional 6volt jolt... get the V3.

would the icon hold 2 14250 batteries?

I believe so ... You may need to do a washer adjustment (2 minutes) but I believe someone has tested these on the ICON over at our boards (pure-smokers.com)

Is the Icon vented?

I am wondering about protected batts with the Icon

Both the V3 and ICON have vents on the bottom switch .... Unlocked, you can see the 2 small holes.

Options are always good. But the icon with a low resistance atty rocks!
Oh ya - I've noticed the original Joye atty's work way better than the others(like SLB) I'm not sure why but the taste and vapor volume is hugely different.

Thus the reason we only carry Joye 510 stock now, and have our SLB equipment in the clearance section :) :toast:
