So I am looking to purchase some 510 cartos.

Last time I bought some a few were not clearly labeled so I don't know which were which.

I have 2 Prodigy v2 devices and a V3. I guess the V2's run at 5.0V, and the V3 is resistance-free for a full 5 volts.

"I am all about the throat hit", and flavor is less of a concern... but enjoyed.

I want that TH, but do not want the carto to burn-up after just a few fills.

The questions are:
1) I was looking to slap a 3.0Volt battery in with a blank/filler cr123 0volt and run these at 3.0 volts, what resistance & brand would you recommend?

2) I do have some 3.7 volt cr123's, has anyone used these (with a blank 0volt filler batt) and with what resistance/brand?

3) If I wanted to run the following, what resistance/brand would you recommend?:
a) V3 @ 6volts, or
b) V2 @ 5Volts

Thanks for the "help" everyone!?

Sure. Any time ;)

3.0v is going to be tough to match a carto to. That's awfully low voltage. You'll need 1.7 or maybe 1.5 ohm cartos.

6.0v - 4.0 ohms or so, maybe even 4.5.

At 5.0v, it just depends on how you're getting to 5.0v with the prodigy. Are you going to use the 5.0v ni-mh batts? Or do you have a termintor? If you're going to use the 5.0v ni-mh batts, a 2.0 ohm carto is a pretty good match depending on your juice, and you might go as high as 2.5 ohms. If you have a terminator and will actually be able to produce 5.0 load volts, you'll need 3.0 to 3.5 ohms.

The dual coils are another thing entirely. If you get some 1.5 ohm Dual Coils, they're great at 3.7v, 5.0v, and 6.0v. 6.0v is pretty much the top of their range and some juices will scorch easily that high. They won't be very useful at 3.0v and you'd be better off with a single coil low ohm.

5Volts on the Prodigy V2 was supposed to be from the ring that makes the connection on the button. It is supposed to drop resistance to about 5v from the solid 6v form the 2x3.0v, or so I read. 6v on the V3 is GREAT on V4L cartos, but I want to leave those... ... who really don't seem to care if they had liquid listed incorrectly, and won't correct it.

Madvapes has taken care of me, even bending over backwards and fixing issues (when there were some), but I didn't want to bug them with the question, so I posted where I knew other people who know their... stuff.

Thank you for the help, I will try the recommended resistance cartos and see how it goes!
