Knowing in advance that this will be a matter of opinion, I seek some guidance. Just pre-ordered my GLV-3 and it will be running at resisted 5v. I have been using a "6v" Prodigy V3.1 for almost a year now with standard cartos. For those using the 5v GLV-2, what attys or cartos do you recommend? Also for anyone using a feed mod, are atty or cartos preferable and which works better for you top or bottom feed? I assume at 5v you would still be using standard resistance, correct?

I have and love my GLV2. The only cartos I'd recommend are V4L coolcarts and Smoktech 1.5ohm dual cartos. Anything else I've tried has burned, that's why I primarily use and stick with 3.5 single coil. Flavor is much better on these than the dualies. Only problem is a standard length carto will only last about 2.5hrs of moderate to heavy vaping, at least for me.

OP: your preferred standard resistance atty/carto should work fine. Stabbie has a thread in the GLV sub-forum about several cartos he's tested & in post #12 he responds to the atty question based on his carto analysis.

Hope this helps.

AttyPops - FYI: The GLV-3 is a box mod comprised of a modified GLV-2 or GLV Mini and a detachable feeder system.

It's like two-two...two PVs in one!

I have just a cheap and simple box mod from madvapes. Dual coils at 1.5Ohm are great, amazing, at 5V

+1 on the duallies. I also take my boge 2.0's that have gotten to the point where they just don't "do it" any more and finish them off at 5V...not a sustained hit...more of a pulse type hit and no burning flavor, tons of vapor and I get another day or 2 out of a carto that was headed for the trash.

Infomercial flashback. <groan> Don't do that to the GLV guys, I hear they're a good group.....

lol.

I stand corrected... sort of. I meant that 5v is 5v, and that I just use the DIY box mods, so I can't comment on the GLV-3's feeding system and what atties to use for that vs another. But for 5v regulated, on any mod, 3.0 ohm for me. :)
