Oooh, I talk about this thing so much you'd think I was getting a commission (here that, Janty?) - but I recently upgraded from a regular eGo battery to Janty's usb passthrough and LOVE it. (I also capitalize love every time I talk about it LOL)

I say go for it and don't look back - even if the eGo isn't the Next Big Thing in a year - you know you'll be able to find parts. They don't sell the usb battery as a kit, so pick up a cone, a low res atty or two, and a drip tip (I bought my cone and tip at goodprophets to save a couple bucks) and you'll be in vape heaven.

Depends on what you want. You want a plastic proprietary battery that will fail on you eventually but vapes at a decent 3.7v and has great button and battery life, or do you want a stainless steel pv that gives you the option of 3.7 or 6v, purely mechanical and user serviceable, has no wires or leds and thus can't fail, and will most likely last you the rest of your life?
When you answer that question, then the answer will probably be the Prodigy V3.
lol
