All of the battery tubes are just battery holders. The difference is in the aesthetics and the switch. I had a Protege and loved the look and size, but the switch (I had 3 out of 4) was not dependable at all. Tried a Chuck, but the switch was just too little and uncomfortable to use for me. Enter ProVape-1, great size, great switch that has not let me down. Ditto Black Silver Bullet (large) and BB from Altsmoke.
Recently got an Icon and it is a well built device with what seems to be a good mech switch. It is very small for its battery size and good for carry. I would not carry around a device as large as the Prodigy. I use my BSB in the car or house only due to size although I love the all day battery.
The ProVape-1 and Icon are both SS which I prefer to my aluminum mods. They are heavier, but very rugged. My BSB has quite a bit of powder coat loss from dings and drops. That is not an issue with the SS units.
3.7v vs 6v? Tried 6v on several devices, but keep coming back to 3.7 and Low Resistance attys. YMMV
