To fair to both products, comparisons should probably wait until the prodigy has be out for a bit, so that any any teething problems or wear issues are known. For example, the Janty Stick has been well received but threads on here would indicate there have been some problems (which will get resolved I'm sure).

To me the SD is known quantity with a lot of "long term" users and comparing a new product to it almost on release would seem unfair to both products.

I grew up in Murfreesboro, TN. Great area.

Cool Steel!

The Prodigy is being made right here in TN. That is a big plus in my book!

I agree with others that you need to give any new product time to iron out any wrinkles before doing any major comparisons.

Btw, I've actually tried the new Prodigy and it ROCKS!

I've resolved my problem with the Janty Stitch-up. I threw it in the bin.:D

I agree, it's a big plus in my book also.
Folks in Tennessee live well, play hard and need a rugged product to withstand their lives.
