was just wondering two things actually :

- In regards to the "peeling" black batteries, of which i have two, Was wodering if anyone has noticed that some batteries outperform others. (referring Bloog batts only) Since my two are awesome I would hate to return them for "cosmetic" defects only to have them replaced with two that did not perform as well.
I am an ex V4L customer for over a year so i have this fear of product inconsistencies ...lol. I know a few other guys using the bloogs and we all love them ... just wondering if anyone else had noticed anything.

Secondly :

- I ordered a pack of reds ..... and while im not a big fan of the flavor ( the RY4's are to die for though! ) i have noticed on the first two cartos i used ... after about an hour or so of moderate vaping they appear to be empty. I get that burnt taste. Anyone else get this? Not that i mind all that much, since i refill them with my own juice and they work fine. just asking. :)

Oh and BTW .... Thank you, Thank you Bloog Team and Leaford. I am now in Vaping heaven thanks to the Bloog Maxxfusion.

I picked up a total of 4 black batteries several weeks ago when the MaxxFusion line came out (2 at 78mm, and 2 at 65mm with the pcc), all 4 of these have been in constant use daily, all of them seem identical in performance, and none of them are showing any signs of peeling or wear.

As to cartos, I do blanks almost exclusively. The only prefilled ones I have experience with are any that I get as a "bonus" because of kit orders, but of prefilleds that I've obtained over time (and used), they all do seem to run dry way faster than the ones I fill myself (even the Bloogs). My sample size for prefilleds is small though, since I don't buy them directly..

The household has 4 batteries here too, I occasionally pick up one of my wife's just to see if they are the same and they all perform evenly. Of course I hand her's back as soon as she catchs me. The only thing is her black battery has some tiny peeling, but that doesn't bother her any because she is more about performance than looks. She is more comfortable in a pair of jeans.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I'm more about performance as well .... and actually, I've discovered that if you encourage the peeling .... I actually used rubbing alcohol and a paper towel .... I got most of the top layer off ..... now its just a matte black finish. good enough for me! Now as soon as they start selling bloog RY4 juice ill be all set ... :)

The cartos seem a bit inconsistent in their fill quantity. I had a carto yesterday that just wouldn't dry out. I vaped that thing like crazy for almost the entire day. I was up late drinking a (ahem) beer or two, and the thing just kept producing huge plumes of vapor (Kamel...mmm, I'm starting to like this one more and more). It finally dried up, put on a new RY4, and it was dry after a short time this morning. So in a row I had the longest-lasting carto I've yet used, followed by the shortest.

My three batteries all seem consistent, but two I've only had a week, and the third just arrived today (fully charged, I love that).

hmm .... I've seen you say that somewhere else in the forum leaford .... so I'm not sure what would cause some carts to last longer than others.
I WILL say that bloog carts last longer than any other brand as far as refilling. I was using V4L carts ... and prolly after 3 refills they started to taste funky even after just filling. I kinda lost count on my bloogs ...lol ... but i tend to toss them now more because I've chewed the hell out of them rather than they are burnt out.

Frick, I can assure you we have the most consistent cartomizer fill in the industry. Most factories fill by hand, we use an automated machine which fills several at a time with a premeasured 1.0ml. Precisely the same fill each and every time.

Hmm, like Marsai, I've experienced some lasting longer than others, but I certainly believe you that the fill is consistent. I had assumed some just don't have as much juice in them. Maybe, if I put a carto on a freshly-charged battery (at 4.2V), it burns up juice faster than if I put the same carto on a half-charged battery? Only explanation I can think of.

The one I had last so long was amazing. I just kept saying "this thing is never going to die." It's officially the seventh BMF carto I've used, so I'm pretty used to how long they last now. :)

And that took place after how many beers?

I have been using bloog for 6 months and have been really happy with customer service and shipping. the maxx fusion came out and for some reason my fav flavor apple and kamel dont taste good at all to me and ry4 which i did not like at all is my fav flavor now but i get alot of cartos that tast burnt right out of the pac to the point that its adding up, i ordered some v4l cartos and when they come in if they vape the same as bloog i will be switching over to f4l. i am intrested in getting the juice and refilling my cartos to save money and hopefully i like there ry4. i hope bloog starts to carry juice and more flavors as i think they have just got old to me and i hate that burnt tast.

Are you putting the maxx fusion cartos onto a V4L battery or a Bloog battery? I had the same issue with burnt taste only when putting a MF carto onto a freshly charged v4l bat. But they are always perfectly fine on the bloog bat.

Yup! Two factors are in play here; the resistance of your carto and the voltage of you battery (Watts = voltage squared divided by resistance.) If your carto is a little lower resistance than the others (say, closer to 2.0Ω than to 3Ω) and you put it on a freshly charged kr8 battery, it will mow through your juice and through your supermini battery in no time flat.

I'd like to hear an explanation of why this is. I have alot of V4L batts and the MS cartos are not working for me. I didn't really want to have to get another but if the problem is really as simple as pairing MS carto with MS batt, then I will definately buy the MS batt.

There's another thread in here somewhere where it was explained in more technical jargon. But it sort of boils down to this... a freshly charged v4l battery is a tad too strong for the MF carto. But it will calm down after being used a few minutes. So what I do is use a v4l cart on the fresh v4l bat for a little bit, then switch the MF cart onto it. I know that explanation was way lame  and I'm not using the right words, but hopefully you get the drift. You're right, the easiest thing is just to use a MF battery with MF carts, but I like my variety and have found this perfectly easy workaround.

Then it wasn't just the beer!

That does make sense. I know Leaford has said that the carto resistance range is supposed to have been solved with QC, but I figure the cartos I have (just received Saturday) are from older production, and my older cartos definitely are.
