So recently, I ordered some of Awesome Vapors "Chocolate Lovers," flavor, and I've had it once before through a 510 battery/atty. It was wonderful, nice and sweet, gave that sort of feeling like you're actually eating a bar of chocolate. And, for some odd reason, I felt that texture you get when you're eating it.

However, I noticed something really surprising when I started vaping it with a LR 510 atty.

The first one or two vapes tasted exactly the same as a regular 510 atty. But once the atty got really watm, the flavor sort of changed from a chocolate bar to vaping HOT CHOCOLATE. It was surreal, because I could taste the change as it was happening.

I thought this was really neat, and was wondering if you guys have ever experienced something like this, which I'm sure you have. I just thought I'd share this experience with you all.

Discuss flavor changes! Do you personally like it when the flavors you vape suddenly change with heat/voltage changes?

EDIT: Whoops! Accidentally posted in the wrong forum. Can someone move this to "General e-liquid discussion"?

It's amazing how different juices can taste through different attys.

Before I knew better I ordered about 20 G4s. I haven't had the problems with them that others report, and I kinda like 'em, but they definitely tend to mute flavors quite a bit, though vapor production remains decent. I figured this was because of the temperature the coil reaches, so I tried bumping the voltage a bit, and the juice goes from muted to burnt.

Regular 510 cartos tend to mute flavors JUST A LITTLE compared to direct dripping, but I feel this is a result of slower wicking, particularly at higher voltages (I tend to use these around 4.2 volts).

Direct dripping on a standard 510 atty gives the best flavor, throat hit, and vapor, but it's such a pain in the neck. Carts don't wick nearly fast enough at higher voltages.

Sorry... after I typed all that out, I realized it may be a bit off-topic... With that said, the only true progression I see is that some flavors tend to drop off a bit as I vape, which is a natural bodily reaction to introducing foreign substances...

Cheers!

I've noticed flavor changes but it's usually for the worst, according to my taste buds. I started about a year ago, and quickly settled in on dripping into standard joye attys for most of the time. I'm currently using ce2s and duel coils but I'm thinking of picking up some more attys even though they are a pain in the neck lol. :vapor:
