i think all of these new proposed taxes are an outrage. any federal excise tax on e-cigs should also be made illegal. excise/sin tax on cigarettes is based upon cigarettes being harmful. they cannot prove that e cigarettes are anywhere near as harmful as cigarettes, try as they might i dont even think they will ever be able to prove it simply because it is not true. the taxes on e cigarettes should be left alone because raising taxes to absurd levels will discourage people quitting smoking in favor of a much less dangerous PV. e cigarettes should never be taxed at the level of traditional cigarettes. the increase in RYO taxes, cigarette taxes, and pipe tobacco is also an outrage, i no longer smoke but i feel that people that smoke know the risks and they should be able to make their own choice however poor that choice may be. RYO tobacco is already absurdly priced; RYO might be slightly less dangerous then manufactured garbage, i dont believe they have the same amount of added piosions. where i live and work; people havent all quit in mass, they simply buy cheap Indian cigarettes. prohibition by taxation simply does not work, people just get more creative on how to escape the taxes. cigarettes are already $10 per pack here the "great" (BS) state of NY.

what is wrong with this country. the people running/ruining need to be replaced, it is past the point of being out of hand. everything is a money grab and im tired of it. what does the government do with additional funds, they piss it away like a person addicted to credit cards. they always want more and more, if they get their proposed taxes on e cigarettes they will find the next thing to attack. this country needs a revolution to overthrow the existing government and a new government needs to be created. our founding fathers left their homeland of england for many of the problems that now exist in the country; unfair taxation.

im fed up with it and im hoping that the citizens of this country will get fed up enough to stand up and tell the government that we have had enough. you have the select few that are rich, the scumbags that dont feel they have to work and the rest of us that are trying to make a living. those working for a paycheck dont want to give their entire check to the government and those on wellfare should be told that you free ride is over, your no longer getting a "free" check, no more free food, and you have to turn your government funded cell phone into the nearest collection bin or get fined for a value of money that exceedes the value of the said phone. granted i understand that there are people that cannot work and for those that truely are physically unable to work could receive enough assistance to live but the rest need to get off of their butts and get a job. a very high percentage of the people collecting these programs are perfectly healthy and have no reason WHY they cannot find a job like the rest of us. dont want to work??????? go find the nearest bridge to live under in a cardboard box, i have NO sympathy for you.

To expect logic and sound decision from our government is a lost cause.

Just follow the money trail, and you can just about predict what they will do in every instance.

I almost have it all figured out with vaping. I can make my own battery devices and atomizers.
The weak point will be the nicotine. I'm sure Phillp Morris knows this.

Unfortunately,the politicians respond to what voters demand with no regard to the costs of what is demanded. Maybe that is why the founders gave the vote only to those who had property--in other words those who had "skin in the game". Property could mean a home no matter how small and land no matter how little,or a small shop. I would not expect to return to that nor would I expect women be denied the vote,but some common sense does need to prevail.
