Project Experiment: usb connector atty e-cig/vaporizer
An attempt at a tutorial on a product made from scratch. I have had help on various aspects of personal/personnel.
The experimental usb e-cig is, a connector, an atty, and e-cig/vaporizer.
whittle a piece of plastic so it can be used in a crimping process to be used in conjunction with a solder less process creating the connector/atty that is used in making the usb e-cig/vaporizer.

Start with
1. a 5pc inflation kit (example: ( 5 Piece Inflator Kit )
2. a plastic Single Coax Cable Feed Thru Bushing (example: ( http://www.summitsource.com/product_...oducts_id=7639 )
Take plastic feed thru bushing.
use a knife to cut around the top of bushing.
creating a new circumference/circle
consistent with the circumference/circle of the female connector (the one with threads on he inside at both ends)
Cut plastic feed through bushing length down to approximately a half an inch
Take a piece of double wire (from a cord)
splice the ends of each wire (cut the plastic off the ends of the two wires)
Take one side of the double wire (where it is now stripped)
twist then bend stripped wire to place on the inside of the female connector (by the threading)(Plastic part of wire will hang on edge of female connector)
insert plastic bushing into female connector wedging stripped wire into place
Bang plastic into female connector
Take second wire twist/bend and insert it into the inner hole side hole of the plastic bushing that is now pressed/banged into the female connector
take inflation needle insert into inner hole of plastic bushing
wedging second wire between plastic bushing whole and inflation needle (screw on male thread part into opposite end of female connector this will allow space for inflation needle)
bang inflation needle into place (may need to use a grinding stone attachment with a dremel or drill to widen plastic bushing whole).
You now have a solder less connector you crimped together that you can use with a 510 cart or atty.
If you wish to continue you can use nichrome wire or ss mesh to turn your connector into an atty.
(place oxidized ss mesh into the brass inflation tube).
wire the usb wire to your connector and add a switch on the usb wire.
Please let me know how this tutorial is so I can make it better. If you would like me to further explain how to wire the connector to a switch and usb wire also let me know.
