Thanks Salem :)

I contacted them and I don't think whoever has even claimed the first thing I gave them. Hate to see it and more go to waste.

I agree. I sent stuff directly to a soldier over there. He was using the stuff to convert smokers. Not sure how the VAS program would work as far as having enough vapers in need of gear.

It was a nice thought though :)

"Ken Corcoran who was scamming donors, soldiers, vendors, and veterans through his group Project Vape A Soldier. His facebook group has been closed down, and his website has been taken down also. Anyone that is in the vaping community can tell you that I was able to retrieve upwards of over $5,000 worth of donated goods that he was selling. All of these items pictured were supposed to be given to soldiers and vets but instead he was selling it."

This is from Heather Sheriden's facebook post, picturing a bunch of confinscated stuff. She goes on to detail how he was uncovered and the truth came to light. Please spread the word.

If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck..........

Uh huh. How quickly people forget how Reddit fingered the wrong person after the Boston Bombing and then the poor guy turns up dead afterward.

Until there is proof positive that there was indeed a scam going on (and not because someone on the internet says they have proof), the finger pointing, howls of outrage, and threats of lynching need to remain out of the picture.

Ok. I was just trying to help people not get scammed. If you want to continue donating, and you can find a way, that's on your head. The person I quoted found out because she was excited that he was selling Flavors by Joe for only 5$ a bottle. She contacted Joe to say thanks for him helping out and he let her know that Project Vape a Soldier was not supposed to be selling his stuff. Maybe this is all made up, I simply don't understand why so many people in the community would attest to a lie. What motivation does Joe have to hurt a project that genuinely supported in enlisted men and women?

As someone who has had dealings with ken i feel compelled to comment. I contacted ken to get a kit shortly after i began vaping, while still using a rn4081. Ken and i spoke though Gmail and once on the phone. All our interactions were professional and not a hint of deceit. Ken was out of ego's and offered to mail me a silver bullet he had coming in. I said thanks and he said he would let me know when it arrived. A few weeks went by and i was lucky with money so i decided to purchase a provari. I contacted ken and told him to pass the SB to some other soldier ho needed it.

at no time did ken ever ask me for money or shipping fees. I did offer to help him with my shipping as i know something on the scale of what he is doing can be financially stressful. he declined taking any money from me.

I cannot and will not comment on any other issues with him regarding the situation with project vape a soldier as i do not have any info.

and since it bears on this..i served in the US Army's 82nd airborne division for nearly 6 years.

i watched the replay...after hearing all that all i can say is damn..

never the less he did publicly apologize. Liar or not, he F'd up, he knows it we know it let it be done. Some of those people on there just seem out for blood with the whole stolen valor bit. If you have issue with him take him to small claims court. Please do not ruin someones life by putting them in prison because they lied about being in the military. That is just unnecessary at this point.
