So I love using cotton.. I've used them on my kayfun and drippers.. But for some reason with the Prometheus the top where it's wrapped in the coil drys out.. it never wicks to the top for some reason.. anyone else have this issue? is my cotton too compact maybe?

Try taking a small piece of kanthal and "fluffing" the wire as close to/in the coil as much as you can. I use cotton as well on my Pulse-G and I had this problem yesterday.
Maybe this is too late
I suggest you make sure the cotton is not thick enough for the juice to flow to the cotton, my first 3 builts were disasters,but after watching rip trippers and the others I never had a problem.. Its a beast..
