Thanks Bovinia , I have not mellowed yet ( not sure I will music wise ! ) And HBD !!!
We're YOUNG compared to some )(*&^(&%(*)_+*+ damn did I just say that !!! J/K

Haha, yes you DID just say that...and ty for the early HBD!

I still gt my ears blasted plenty...hubby never outgrew his love for Rush, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, etc.

Give me someone who can make a 12 string sing and they'll have my heart forever LOL. I was always more of a Gregg Allman type :)

Toss in some AC/DC, and I could listen to John Denver for a little while.
What ever happened to BTO, GFR, they were a hot bands for long time, they must have got thrown under the buss like so many good bands from the 70's.
I got a ton of vinyl records but no turn table any more. I still have a Marantz amp/tuner that rocks like a mad man though. It needs a cleaning in the volume dial but, its got a home with me forever.
Remember when: freinds stopped by to check out the stuff you were listening to and you'd drop that arm down just right, in between tunes, catch it just right, oh yeah.
I miss that stuff, maybe I'm old school, but that was a good time.
I miss my 69 SS camaro 350ci close ratio 4 speed, posi traction rear end w/60s rubber, daytona yellow w/black racing stripes.
I miss my hair, way more than a little, hair was every thing.
I miss the new girl at school, lol, she was hot, they all were to me.
This could be my hit song, hit the drums, slap that bass.
I guess I'll sit here on my day home and think about the old times, not all bad.

Yep Poppa those were some good times. Grand Funk Railroad!!! I didn't know anyone else would even know who they were, ha! My first car was a Chevelle and man it was purty. Eight track tape deck and an old real to reel along with the turntable :) I was pretty partial to Humble Pie and Cream in those days too.

Well I can tell you that playing in clubs at that age was FUN !! we had to wait outside until our set started then setup . play , breakdown and get kicked out ! we played in Hollywood quit a bit but were too young to stay in the club after we played !

so we partied in the parking lots LOL!

Hey, the best party's happened in parking lots! Oh to be young and in the 70s again!
