prone to cracking?

I just bought a Boge carto tank and it cracked (more like shattered) after only one use? Are there certain kinds of juices that these tanks can't handle? Do they make a metal one? Any help would be appreciated.

Some of the citrus juices have been known to crack some tanks and the cinnamon ones as well, Which were you using??

I see from the other thread you used a cola juice, they are known to crack plastic tanks.
I suggest you get a good quality pyrex tank instead, buy a complete tank kit from IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! , they are killer.
I have two of them.

I was using a cola juice from mt baker. In a way it might be considered like citrus because it is acidic.

Cola is not only acidic but also has cinnamon as one of the flavoring agents. I've written an article on the flavors that can crack/melt plastic tanks and offer suggestions on what delivery devices are safe to use with them in my blog:

mtbaker has a whole list on their site of flavors that crack tanks

not sure if 'cola' is on there, but almost every other type of soda is.. make sure you check that on the juices you get from there.
