Proof that e-cigarettes are safer than cigarettes?

With the exception of the flavoring, everything in an e-cig can be found in a tobacco one.
Glycerol (aka glycerine)
Propylene Glycol
Nicotine

List of additives in cigarettes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
List of cigarette smoke carcinogens - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So, unless the rest of the chemicals on those lists are somehow better for you than flavoring is, it's a pretty safe bet.

You should, however, avoid flavoring that uses artificial colors.

Interesting point.. WhiCh flavoring has artificial coloring?

Ive posted a question relating to this in the forum however this seems like a relevent area to add to further discussion. Why is it that we use the PG / VG at all? Aside from giving the "genuine smoker feel" of blowing out smoke. Is there some reason it has to be used? I for one, would rather not have to worry about some study comming out down the road about how bad it is. I dont need to feel like im smoking a real cigarette, I just want my nic fix.
