Proper dripping method.

I am having trouble dripping my GG. When I dripped my 510, I would always drip a couple of drops onto the cartridge filler material, and a couple on the steel wool part of my atty and it worked pretty good.

On my GG I have been trying the same method, but I keep getting liquid in my mouth and misfires caused by "flooding" I am using a 901 atty with the cigar type flat mouthpiece cartdridge. I also use the coffee straw mod on all of my cartridges.

The reason I say flooding is because liquid keeps escaping through the tiny (carberator?) hole down toward the battery end of the atty.

Blow through the mouth piece to get out the excess juice. I only drip on the atty to prime it when it is new. I just keep my carts topped off after that. When juice comes out the hole it is flooded. Blow out the atty and it should be fine.

I totally converted to dripping last week-end. I am SO done with carts!

I got so tired of putzing with the cart and the filler.

I drip 3 drops on my 510 atty and I'm good for around 5 puffs.

I drip 5 drops on my 801 atty and I'm good for around 9 puffs.

I've found the flavor comes through so much better with just dripping.

You do have to watch the amount of puffs though - that burnt atty taste is mighty awful at 6 volts.

How you take a drag is also important I think.

I press the button...
I start the drag...
After 2-3 seconds, I let go of the button and continue dragging for 1 more second...
Then I inhale.

If you don't inhale til the drag is done you get the full effects.

It's absolutely vaping heaven!!

As long as you only put 3 drops on the mesh after you blow out the 901, it will never happin again.
Only 3.

Mamu, I have stop the cart filling months ago. I have notice that like paul I had liquid to my mouth.
The method you use for inhaling is the best!!! Keeps attys alive and you take the best from GG. Your method must be written to the GG directions

Yeah! Stuff those damn carts I drip too! 3 drops for me in 901 atty at 6 volts, 2 is good for 3.7 volts! If its a pen cart, I also drip 3 and less chance of flooding!

Hey guys thanks for the advice. I ended up taking the filler material out of the cartridge and now am dripping directly on the atty only. I am getting less liquid in my mouth, but I am still getting misfires....any suggestions?

Paul - GG misfiring is usually caused by the bottom of the button not making good contact with the GG case due to build up of residue.

You will need to clean the button to restore good contact between the bottom of the button and the GG case.

You'll need 1000 grit sandpaper. Cut a strip 1/2 inch x 5 inch and fold in half. I purchased mine at Auto Zone.

i do that with my 510 and 801 both manual and it works great....

I feel that way too sometimes, Cheech. I carry my little 'crack kit' around with juice, spare attys, batteries, etc. Always topping off and dripping and fussing. I refuse to carry a syringe because it's just too 'junkified' looking. I'm sure people think it's some sort of drug device when they see me messing with it.
