The tank you have (any tank) is the best one to learn with. Just have to learn how to make it work right for you, and maybe compromise a little.
Airflow also affects things A LOT. In combination with power setting.
I like to find the draw I want by playing with the airflow at low wattage, then start turning it up a couple watts at a time. If it gets too hot (the vapor) or tastes caramelly or burnt, open airflow more or turn wattage back down.

What is the recommended wattage range for your coils? It should be engraved on the coil or the packaging the coils come in. That would be a good place to start.

Start out with a setting at the lower end of the recommendations. Find the air control setting that you prefer. Then increase the wattage in small increments until the vape seems a bit too warm or maybe begins to taste burnt, then adjust wattage down about 10 watts.

Adjust the wattage to your personal preference. Play with the air control of your tank. Those are options, take advantage of options when you can.

Aegis, aegis legend, mini, Solo?

Also, could you be slightly more specific about which tank/coil?

If I had to guess, 35-55w, but ymmv. Start as low as possible and raise the wattage until you get a vape you like. That's generic advice though.
Its a Smok Supertank with aspire 0.2 coils. Aegis legend.

    0.2 coils
    Ghostberry or Zenith juice

Any recommendations of what I should vape at, not into chasing clouds, just looking for taste and coil life. Also if you know of a different tank/coil setup that works better pls leave me know. Thanks all.

Recommend wattage for 0.2 ohm coil from manufacturer, 30-150 watts!
    0.5 coil is 30-100 watts.
Start with 30 watts and slowly go up until you enjoy your vape:vapor:
