Proper Steeping for DIY?

I'm a newbie and was wondering if there is any concensous on steeping for DIY? Currently, I'm opening and closing then shaking each of the plastic bottles containing 50/50 PG/VG 1.2% with Flavour Art flavorings once or twice daily.

(To date Flavour Art Apple Pie is my favorite.)

You don't really need to take the caps off for more than a day or two. Best I can tell this is to let any alcohol in flavorings evaporate (and not all of them use alc, so it may not be necessary depending on your blend). Too much exposure to oxygen will oxidize the nicotine and give off flavors/reduce potency.

But a shake once or twice a day should do it.

Thanks for the advice. I was analog for 40 years and only wish I had started vaping sooner!

Perhaps search a bit deeper into "quick steeping". It involves mildly heating your ejuice concoctions in glassware.
