I have seen that Light! The only way I have been able to describe it is - you know what a "black hole" is? It is nothing. Concentrated nothingness. It is so much nothing that it will suck everything in the universe into it, turning everything into nothing. Well that Light is the exact opposite. (and yes, the L needs to be capitalized) It is everything. Concentrated everything. So much so that everything that exists came from that everything.
I saw a small little hint of it, and it was the biggest, greatest thing I've ever seen. I knew that it was God. I asked Him which God he was and He told me. That is when I went from being a witch to being a Christian. (It was a little while later, to be completely truthful. I knew He was God. I believed He was God. I just hadn't "confessed with my mouth" yet.) Many months later when I read chapter nine of the book of Acts, I freaked out a little bit. LOL
It was an interesting conversation that day. I knew that someone just appeared and was standing in the upper corner of the room. It was a locked hotel room. My husband and I were alone there. We were between the door and the corner where this person appeared. I looked over.
I liked the way the man in the video explained everything. When he used the analogy of a picture made up of a bunch of little pictures, I was reminded of when John wrote Revelation, he talked about locusts and stars falling from the sky. He was using images that he knew, to describe something that he didn't have the words to describe. And it sounds weird and trippy and nonsensical. But then when you see it, you're like "Ahhh, OK" and then all the weird images make
sense.
I really liked how, not only did he feel incredible joy, he also felt incredible sadness for all the other people. I have thought about that sometimes. I have grieved for the people who will be left behind, and knowing that I won't be able to do anything to help them. That certainly lends a feeling of urgency to sharing the Gospel with every person you come in contact with. I need to do a better job of that.
I'm off to watch the other vids in this thread now. But I had to replay to the first video as soon as I saw it.
Love,
