I know this is a little off topic, but I found a great video of a Rabbi sounding the shofar! It was awesome!!!!!!! I tried to post it, but I couldn't get it to work right. I couldn't even post the link!! I was thinking of sending a PM to anyone here who may be able to post the video.

The sound of that trumpet just made my spirit jump for joy!!!!!!! I am so eagerly looking for that day when the Lord sounds His trumpet!!!!!!! I wonder if it will be like the shofar?

You can PM it to me, I'd be happy to post it :)

I have seen that Light! The only way I have been able to describe it is - you know what a "black hole" is? It is nothing. Concentrated nothingness. It is so much nothing that it will suck everything in the universe into it, turning everything into nothing. Well that Light is the exact opposite. (and yes, the L needs to be capitalized) It is everything. Concentrated everything. So much so that everything that exists came from that everything.

I saw a small little hint of it, and it was the biggest, greatest thing I've ever seen. I knew that it was God. I asked Him which God he was and He told me. That is when I went from being a witch to being a Christian. (It was a little while later, to be completely truthful. I knew He was God. I believed He was God. I just hadn't "confessed with my mouth" yet.) Many months later when I read chapter nine of the book of Acts, I freaked out a little bit. LOL

It was an interesting conversation that day. I knew that someone just appeared and was standing in the upper corner of the room. It was a locked hotel room. My husband and I were alone there. We were between the door and the corner where this person appeared. I looked over.

I liked the way the man in the video explained everything. When he used the analogy of a picture made up of a bunch of little pictures, I was reminded of when John wrote Revelation, he talked about locusts and stars falling from the sky. He was using images that he knew, to describe something that he didn't have the words to describe. And it sounds weird and trippy and nonsensical. But then when you see it, you're like "Ahhh, OK" and then all the weird images make sense.

I really liked how, not only did he feel incredible joy, he also felt incredible sadness for all the other people. I have thought about that sometimes. I have grieved for the people who will be left behind, and knowing that I won't be able to do anything to help them. That certainly lends a feeling of urgency to sharing the Gospel with every person you come in contact with. I need to do a better job of that.

I'm off to watch the other vids in this thread now. But I had to replay to the first video as soon as I saw it. :)

Love,
~A

Yea, same here! Isn't that young man such a gem? I love him!!! :):)

Yes he is Lisa! It's so refreshing to see people genuinely in LOVE with Christ and on fire to win souls for the Kingdom. Their hearts are burdened for the lost and it matters they do the will of our Holy Father. :)

Are we there yet????? I'm sooooo ready. Right now! 'Even so, come, Lord Jesus!' I know that I know that I know! I don't have a sidewalk, but I do have a front yard. A Glorified Body! I'm going to have a spell!!!!!! I discerned nothing sinister, or remotely close. He had this dream, and I knew it before he teared up. It was real, all.:)

Would you be terribly disappointed if (even though your ready now), it didn't happen in your lifetime? Why?
Suppose you lived to the ripe old age of 95 and still no 2nd coming. Are you OK with that?
Are you willing to appreciate your life today and tomorrow or the next day? Are you willing to tell a child that they have a full lifetime of wondrous things here on earth ahead of them?

...or are you going to tell them that things are so terrible here that Jesus should come now, any day. Sooner that later. ?

Would you be terribly disappointed if (even though your ready now), it didn't happen in your lifetime? No, I would not.

Why? I know that when I leave this earth, whether by being raptured or by dying a natural death, I will be with God. There will be no disappointment, sadness or regrets in His presence.

Suppose you lived to the ripe old age of 95 and still no 2nd coming. Are you OK with that? Yes. God is never late. He's never early, either. He gets there when He is supposed to get there. I trust His judgment, as far as timing goes. If I am still here, I know that the tribulation has not started, so it will never be "as bad as it can get" if I'm still around.

Are you willing to appreciate your life today and tomorrow or the next day? I am, and I do. There is love and beauty and all sorts of wonderful examples of God's love for us. I appreciate what He put here for us to enjoy. I appreciate that He put me here to enjoy it.

Are you willing to tell a child that they have a full lifetime of wondrous things here on earth ahead of them? Again, I am, and I do. I want, not only children, but everyone, to see and experience all of the beautiful wonderful things that God put here for us because He loves us and wants us to be happy. He wants us to work hard and help other people to be happy too.

...or are you going to tell them that things are so terrible here that Jesus should come now, any day. Sooner than later. ? I would tell them that , yes, there are bad things here and that bad things happen. But our time here is just a very small part of our existence. And before things get really, really bad here, God will make sure that His people are brought safely out of danger. It is up to God to say when the "really, really bad" point is reached. He is the only one who knows when that will happen. It could happen at any time. I want everyone to know how to be one of His people, so He can take them out of danger too. I believe He is allowing bad things to happen to give all people time to become His people.

God's people, Christians, have faith, happiness, wonderment at beauty, and freedom from fear. God wants everybody to have all of that. He died so that we could have it. All you have to do to have it too, is believe this and tell Him that you want it.

Love,
~A

1) Yes, I would. Why? Because of the condition of this world. 2) I can't fathom how awful life will be if I lived to be 95.....not just for me, but for people everywhere....and no, I'm not okay with that because people are going to suffer. 3) Do I appreciate my life today? I appreciate EVERYTHING Jesus does for me today, tomorrow, and the next day because He richly blesses me. I am able to look forward to being with Jesus because He saved me from my sins which would have separated me from Him for an eternity. I know that I know that I know I am His child. 4) I would not discuss end times with a child because it could frighten them needlessly. If a child wants to discuss their dreams with me, who am I to dash their hopes against a rock? I believe I'd have to answer to Jesus if I did.

Now, why am I so gungho about my future? Because I deeply love my Savior and I want to be with Him. I will answer you with a Scripture. 'To live is Christ, and to die is gain.' I've made peace with death. Have you? 'Oh death where is thy victory, oh grave where is thy sting.' Amein!

I also agree with these answers! Perfect and beautiful! AMEN! :):)
