'Proposals are simply menthol' says Yorkshire MEP

Menthol cigarette flavoring is lined up to be prohibited
and a 'de facto' ban on electronic cigarettes is proposed.
They will have to be authorized as 'medicinal products'.

“I find this particularly crazy as e-cigarettes are healthier
alternatives. The European Commission will not stop here,
next it will be alcohol and foods.”

All true except the bit about alcohol and food, well still be fighting the war on tobacco well into the next century if this kind of all or nothing attitude persists.
Pity He's a UKIP mep as they shout about 'EU gone mad' on every issue, still any coverage of this in mainstream media is a good thing.
