Pro's and Con's of different PV's

I have been searching the forums - does anybody have a side by side list of the different models and the pro's and con's of each? The reason I ask is I have my 510 which I love - but thinking of trying another model just to see what others are like, but I start searching for which other model to try and get so confused on which one would be good to try...any thoughts or ideas?

Debra - a 901 is another good one. I have both and love both equally!

I was wanting something like that too a while back when I first started vaping. I know people have talked about it elsewhere on the main forum but I'm not sure anything every came of it. Someone was even going to make a wiki of all the models and give more info about them. Perhaps a "wiki" search would turn up something.

The thing is, IMO, ecig use is so subjective to the actual user I think it's kind of hard to put something like that together. I'm more or less talking about the pros and cons. It would be pretty easy to write a feature set but other than that I'm just not sure how reliable it could be.

Another monkey wrench to throw in there is the knockoffs in our industry. That being several companies making the same ecig model and it gets even worse for the spare parts which ultimately is the whole ecig as the parts die off. Sometimes you end up using an ecig made by several different manufacturers.

That is one of the reasons some people get frustrated and give up on vaping. It may sound off but the better solution might be a comparison list of manufacturers and stating exactly who sells and makes what.

Hey Jennee thanks for the tip on the 901, I have seen quite a few people being happy with that, I may order one just for a change. Lika, you make some good points - it does sound like it would be a daunting task, to say the least. Lika did you try any other models or just stay with what you started with? Anyone else?? Which ones do you use and have you ventured out to try other models?

I started out with a 901 which I still like but rarely use anymore.

I've also used the 801 penstyle. I couldn't really ever get the hang of it. Maybe it was the maker of the parts/kit I purchased. But for me they didn't last and were very very unreliable. I know that's not the case with many other reports which goes back to what I was saying above.

My favorite is the 510 with a manual switch and no LED. Mine produces tons of vapor and is a lot less leaky than my 901. IMO, the 901 does produce a little more flavor in the vapor but for me the 510 still beats it just because the volume of vapor is more.

I have been reading through some of the other model discussions and ya know I think I will just stick with my faithful 510. It really sounds like most people really like it.

Howdy Debra;

The 510 is a good little unit. Occasionly the TX group has get togethers. That would be the perfect time to check out the other members e-cigs. Since you have a good little e-cig right now, you have time to do some research to see what you might like to try next.

Where would I find a 510 sans led? I like the 510 and appreciate the feedback when the battery dies, but I could probably figure that out after a couple puffs.

I was using a 510 and then I got the chuck today and that is my new and probably only pv. You can watch the vid in the review forum.

I also liked the 901, it is a good starter e cig.
