Before I discovered this board 3 years ago, I purchased a Prosmoke. At the time, they were getting great reviews that almost looked like they were planted by the manufacturer.

After being disappointed with the Prosmoke, I joined this forum to see what I was doing wrong. It turned out to be the prosmoke, they just weren't so good. After some helpful suggestions, I got my 510, and was very happy. Unfortunately, after my batteries died, I fell off the wagon and went back to analogs.

So my 510 batteries are still dead but I wanted to get back in the game. So I found my old Prosmoke. I charged the batteries and have been vaping it. It's not nearly as enjoyable as the 510, but I do have my replacement batteries for that coming. I'll probably get some newer tech once I decide on it.

So meanwhile. What happened to Prosmoke? I'm guessing they were planting reviews and once that stopped they disappeared. It's not a great product. Wish it wasn't all I had.

Unfortunately, almost everyone who starts off with a cigalike ends up being disappointed and either takes the next step towards something more powerful, or relapses.

I feel for ya. My first attempt also started with a cigalike and while I didn't fail miserably, I never really shook the habit.

It wasn't until I found a somewhat overpriced but still very effective eGo setup and some coaching on the right liquid that I was finally able to take that big "No more" step.

Prosmoke is still in business and still calling themselves the "#1 rated" e-cig.

Don't fool yourself...a huge portion of ecig users out there are still using small 510 thread type batteries under 300mah. (Women over 50 mostly)

Watch it there, buckaroo.......:grr:.......I (hard to admit) fit that demographic and that is NOT what I'm using. I may not be totin' a lightsaber or rebuilding sub-ohm anythings but I'm not "there" either! Don't make me smack you with my purse.

I also know what a flux capacitor is, know how matter/antimatter works with a dilithium crystal in a warp core engine, and still rock my Aerosmith shirts. Of course, I am still clinging to my dumb phone, but that's another issue entirely. :)

And I can tell you, as an "advanced" vaper, the Joyetech eRoll, for instance, is elegant as all get out, and the PCC case looks like an Iphone, and the ecig charges in there without even taking anything apart.

There is a time and place for these, as there is for disposables. I may want to vape at a wedding reception where i am the only vaper, I vaped outside a church at a funeral recently, or you have a boardroom meeting at corporation and carrying an eRoll is just more elegant to be honest. I don't want people staring at me and I also don't want to be carrying a fat heavy bat like Provari (and I've owned one and think they are gREAT, just not for me).

My main squeeze is a REO, which is not only a great vape, but any art student type would appreciate, it is rather iconic and nerdy looking while at the same time looking very high tech, I think. :)

Its like food or clothing or movies or anything else, never understood why anyone would do the "my vape is better than your vape" thing. I know plenty of 20-somethings who love their eRolls. :)

Young whippersnappers ain't got no blessed idee what they's goin' on about...

60 years old and completely skipped the cig-a-like, under-300-mah stage. I went nearly directly to an MVP with a ProTank. Got 2 iTaste vvs as back ups.

But if you like the small, lighter little guys, go for it. Nobody has the right to look down on someone who has chosen to use smaller equipment.
