Man, I have NO problems with it on my Nemmy clone. The airflow to the 510 is awesome on mine. Is the positive pin on the PT pushed in, and thus bulging the rubber grommet? Also, there are 3 little airholes on the 510 connection of the PT - make sure they're all cleaned out, and that the threads are very clean.

I don't have a sentinel or zmax, but I'm not sure that they have good airflow to the 510. I know on my SVD the draw on my PT's is PAINFULLY tight - so much so that I'm contemplating drilling out the beauty ring on it.

If you have a PT1 or can buy a PT1 replacement base, it has a larger inside 510 diameter and will allow better air flow. Also if your mod's 510 connection air notches aren't large enough it'll block airflow. If there are no airflow notches in the mod's 510 connection you're pretty much boned. The two big notches in the base of the Protank is for flush mounting on devices with outer rings and then a "over drip/juice well" before the 510 connection. it doesn't help with the actual airflow through the 510 connection itself.

They sell adjustable airflow controllers for the Protank. Protank screws into the airflow regulator, regulator screws onto the mod. The regulator has a ring that you twist to raise and lower it, opening and closing what airflow the protank gets. Works real well on mods, especially mechanicals where the 510 airflow is tight and restricted or has no airflow to begin with. hth
