ProTank 2 gets HOT

I rebuild my coils with four wraps of 32ga and silica wick. For some reason the tank gets absurdly hot, no matter what battery or wattage I use. In contrast my GF's ProTank Mini with included coil is cool to the touch. What am I doing wrong?

Do you chain vape?

Hard to say without more info. What diameter? Is the coil partially shorting against the head? Do you have a means to measure the resistance of the coil once it's all back together?

Did you check to see if there are any hotspots on the build? What resistance is your build?
