Great tank on an ego device, but on a vv/vw Dev. is garbage. I am running a Sigelei V3 Zmax and am getting the steak through the coffee straw. 0 to hurting my eyeballs draw.. ...! As many unit as Kanger sells of these one would assume that this problem would be addressed. I tried everything.. the half turn on the head, the Smokjunk airflow controller, the wobbly gotta babysit my tank.. So frustrating. I love the Evod tanks on my Zmax, outstanding for a little BDC on a vv. I went back to analogs for this reason because of the inconsistency of cartos and DTCs tanks. When i switched to the Evods it was a breath of fresh air, literally.. I love those little guys! The PT2 is another story. Don"t get me wrong I understand the leaps and bound in the past year with PVs and I have been vaping for going on 3.5 of them but come on man. The # 1 reason i am trying and quit is my health.. # 2 is my wallet and now I'm out some 50-60 bucks
because of PT2s. Im stuck with one and luckily i can RMA the one I bought for my GF for Christmas! I / We are on a budget and can't afford the the high end stuff.. I hoped the PT2 was going to be the saving grace for our at home vapeing needs , but alas I was really dissapointed.

Have you tried recoiling them with a microcoil and using a cotton wick? Or, have you tried the Anyvape Davide? It has a bit of an airier draw. Another suggestion would be to drill out the air holes at the bottom threaded connector and use the airflow adjuster you have.

Personally, I have the PT2 and the Davide, and I really prefer the Davide, but, in my opinion, they both need to be recoiled (30ga, 8 or 9 wrap 1/16" ID microcoil to be exact, leaves me between 1.1 and 1.3 ohms), and cotton ball wicks. They are wonderful after that.

I got a VV device, and bought with the Odyssey Tanks, but wandered into a shop and bought the Davide, which as fa as I know, is the KPT2. Found that to be a lot better than the Oddy tanks, just my expereince so far after about three weeks with a VV. Had to change the cart on the Oddy tank so far, but the Davide is still working well.

I just got a PT2 with my Provari Friday and needed to drill out the holes on the 510 thread to 1/16" to get more air....helped but still a little tight compared to the PT mini's I have been using for 2-months. Look through the bottom connection to see if the rubber grommet is covering the air at the bottom of the 510 connection stem....if the metal pin is pushed to hard into the grommet it will squish out and block the air.... I have to pull the pin out a little and push the rubber in sometimes to get full air around the internal connection.

I too was experiencing some serious airflow/gurgling problems with my Pro Tank 2 after about 3 days of vaping with it on a zmax v5. It was hit and miss and I was consistently getting a mouthfull of juice when I did get airflow. I'd have to shake the fluid out every 5-10 vapes. So I washed it with hot water, removed the flavor wick, gave it a longer dry burn then usual, and now it works with no gurgle and I get a draw every time. I'm still pretty new to RBA's, but it was like night and day. The flavor wick did make a difference in taste, but not enought to keep me from enjoying my vape.

i haven't had any issues with the 5 PT2 tanks i have and i use them on vv/vw devices. I've only had issues with draw on one particular juice and i think the issue is with this one juice and not the tanks themselves since they're perfectly fine with any other juice, even from the same vendor. don't over tighten the coil head to the base and don't over tighten the base to the bottom of the tank. i get a very nice airy draw on my tanks without flooding or gurgling

I drilled mine out also. Didn't help too much with the Provari. Took an old credit card and cut out a spacer to sit on the tank 510 connector. Allows much better airflow now and the tank now sits tightly. Still like my Vivi Nova 2.5 better but at least the Protank 2 is usable...still have to do a recoil and see how that works.
