My PT2 sucks for air flow. I have a couple of clones I got off the classified I had to fill one hole, too much air, but the real deal, if it is not LOOSE on the connection, NO AIR. Really sucks to pay that kind of price and not be able to use it. Don't work on SID, SVD, or VV V3.0, so it is not the device unless it is three devices, that all three work fine with everything else. There are some problems with PT2's, but then again mine could be a counterfeit, no way to tell as it came in a Kangertech box and was listed as Authentic. I'll drill it out the holes or something to get it to work, but I am not the only one to have this problem. A PBusardo Review - ProTank II, Mini ProTank, Davide, & a Contest - YouTube Start watching at about 8 minutes and he has the same problem I am having.

In the video he also mentions that it may be a pre production release. He replaced the base and it worked great for him (if it's the same video I've seen before). Maybe it wasn't a clean air hole in the base, has some burrs left from manufacturing?

But I've had my PT2 on an ego, ego mega, and smoktech sid with no draw issues. Maybe I got lucky? I plan on getting at least one more just to have different flavors available so in my book it's a win for the PT2

I have a davide and THREE protank 2's. One protank I bought off a buddy and it worked great. Awesome airy draw just like the davide. Liked it so much I bought 2 more. Well they had such a hard draw I thought my eyes were gonna pop out! Plus one wouldn't even pull at all! OCD as I am with making stuff work I drilled the three holes out to 1/16" AND added 3 more. Also ordered a airflow controller since the V2 threads are crap the controller helps "save" the v2 threads from excessive tank changes. And now the tank that wouldn't pull at all pulls and works with the controller installed (weird).

So with all installed I still get a better draw but still too tight for my liking. I found out when the tank is tighten all the way down it's actually smushing the bottom seal and fairing it out blocking off all air flow! Easy fix! Back it off. And screwed the airflow controller slam up against bottom of the tank and presto!!! No loose tank and a AWESOME DRAW!!!

Granted the davide tank was perfect out of the box, I didn't like the amount of liquid I was loosing on the stem of the atty when I went to refill the tank. Let alone if not whipped of, the juice that was being shoved in the center tube. For some reason the protank 2 keeps the stem darn near bone dry when removing the base. Just my opinion and help :) if needed

So I tried the micro/cott rebuild and the PT mini base and works a s#%t ton better.. Only thing i have noticed was the PT mini base threads are a tad loose and it jiggles a bit even when tight.
