Hello again good ECF people
just wanted some input on a recent issue to see if this has happened to anyone else...
Been vaping for 10 months now, 7 of which using a PT2 on an MVP V2, I recently purchased a new MVP v2 and 3 new PT2's (on sale
) so that the GF and myself would be using the same coils ( I rebuild for 3 different tanks
) Well, they come in the mail, and I open one of the PT2's and put in one of the provided coils for the GF and it works like a charm (albeit with silica and not cotton lol) So, after a few days she asks me to put in a new coil in for her.. No prob.. So I thought.. When I put in a rebuilt coil, that I know worked in my PT2, the base will not screw into the tank!! So I try a few different coils... Same deal, like they are too long.. So I grab the 2nd coil provided with the tank, fits, no issue... I look at the coils very closely, and the only thing that I can tell may be the issue is the bottom plate looks slightly smaller that my other coils... So I tried an actual Kanger replacement coil.. Would not fit!!
So I tried her tank on my bases, fits no issue.. So I am assuming the base itself is different...
I am picking up some air control bases today anyways, so it's not an issue, but I am curious if anyone else has run into this????
