Protank 2 Mini drains juices fast and The New Protank 3.

Was wondering if u guys and gals noticed that the protank 2 mini drains juices mighty fast. A friend of mine also vouches his protank 2 does the same.. And what are ur thoughts on the new Protank 3..

I'm thinking of buying a pro tank mini to accompany my evod. I'd be interested in peoples thoughts on this post.

yeah, agree that the mini PT2 drains real fast...could be that I'm vaping fast too...delicious...trying to vap to get my body weaned off analogs. Apart from that, it's kind good cos ez to clean off juices since every part can be disassembled.

Will try to get the PT3 and but I bet it might drain fast too cos it's double-coil...

I go through about a mini protank 2 a day, maybe a touch more some days. Since this is my first e-cig device I have nothing to compare it to though. Since it only holds 1.5 ml I guess that's not too bad. It did increase when I went from 2.2ohm to a 1.8.

Good luck on quitting analogs. They say the 3rd day, 3rd week and 3rd month is the worst.

I still get the occasional urge every few months. But when I try analogs, feel like puking.

It goes fast for me bec I increase the voltage. The vape is so nice and even if I burn it, I'll just recoil and load in a new one.

More vape. Thus the juice goes faster. It also might appear that the juice is lower than your other tanks but it's a pretty big tank and even when you can't see it in the tank the juice is still down there by the base.

Hah...thanks. I'm weaning off atm, but not entirely stopping analogs. Just delaying the time in between each analogs with vaping. e.g. usually it's 1 per hour, now it's 1 per 2-3 hours.

Compared to a ce5, the juice in my protank 2 does seems to deplete faster, maybe it's due to me vaping more too....there goes my 3 days 10ml estimation...

one of the reasons I like the mini protank

it holds the LEAST AMOUNT of juice vs any of the main stream topper tanks

it sez 1.5ml, but unless you TOP TOP it off, more like 1.0-1.2 ml

figure a XXL (45mm) carto tank claims to hold 1.4ml

also, it's 'taller' than all others

but to get the best of both worlds, you could install one of these -
- Mini Tatroe Bottom Cap

so the moral of the story, juice goes fast because there isn't much there to vape...

Now that the OP mentions it, my PT mini does go through juice quicker than my Evod ... not sure why, but it does.

For a start, in addition to the fact the BCC is always 'Wet' due to gravity which should drain juice faster than TCC, its also dependent on coil resistance. The lower the resistance (rest held constant), the higher the power, the faster it burns juices.
If you DIY your coil, you'll notice thinner gauge wires, say 32awg will light up faster than thicker ones 30awg at same voltage.

My mini-protank II is on its way...can't wait to do a comparison.

Go for it bro.. U wont regret it.. My evod is just sitting quietly in my drawer collecting dust, lol. And if the draw is too airy, just cover one of the draw holes with some scotch tape like i did and it vapes like a charm..

Seems like Protank 2 cannot use Protank 3 heads. But Protank 3 is backward compatible with Protank 2, like CPU socket design principle..LOL

my 2 cents worth. anything that gives good vapour and taste will drain juice fast.... dats how the vapour are produced

I beg to differ. I'm running dual coil on an RDA and it gives me better vapor and flavor. And my 5ml bottle can last me 3-4 days of heavy vaping. The only downside is the need to drip.

I owe one too.. I think its bcos of the small build. Only 1.5ml storage, maybe tat y its seems to finish fast. Well the taste is far better than ViVA, rebuildable coil( which is tricky due to the size), slim soild high gloss finishing..decent airflow (which can be altered) great sealing (no leakage either bottom or top) One of my best buy so far..

Protank III coil head is super ex, double Protank II price, it is also almost impossible to rebuild the tiny double coil in the small area, not worth it.

Finally... my 'OEM' Protank II just freshly arrived from oven. Will try later and do review soon.
