Maybe you got liquid into the center post? Take it off the battery, blow through it, dry off the top/bottom, try again.
yeah, that too....and everytime I add or change liquid I make sure the contacts on the battery is dry and clean.

Leaking issues... It is a bottom coil with a bottom wick. I almost wonder if it is normal to have a small leak. Maybe you are not vaping it at a high enough voltage, and you are pulling too hard, thus the wick is working too well to get juice to the coil, and your coil is not performing, so where does the excess go? Right down the bottom connection. BTW, don't use cotton on these. Cotton works too damned well.

I had them flood occasionally and I concluded my problem was that I wasn't rearranging the flavor wicks properly after cleaning. Instead of staying one on top of the other and both on top of the coil, they were staying one next to each other. The juices I use are 80% PG / 20% VG.

To stop this from happening, I was putting one, soak it with liquid, then put the second and soak it as well. This way I noticed I don't get floods anymore.

My protank 2 keeps flooding. I have is where it's not a tight airflow and I'm not pulling to hard. Everything is tight. Any ideas?

Check the little rubber o-rings inside the tank and make sure they're seated well.

Dang it! I'm waiting on a protank shipment right now, especially after seeing results in at least one poll around here. And still, I keep hearing negatives like this.

Can't help with your question, of course, but maybe bump it up a bit.

I really like my protanks!! I don't have leaking problems with them. My protank mini's sometimes gurgle if I draw too hard or the liquid gets low. My protanks - never a problem yet.

Tall coils? (should have same with it - the evod coils are no longer produced, but still floating around)
What is your VG/PG mix on your juice?
another thing to check is that the coil is properly seated on the base (gets loose on some models over time)

I have (4) different variations of the ProTank, and a few different variations of the ProTank 2
I run at 2ohm, 5.5W - and I rebuild my coils

(Stock Coils) Seems when I vape with the mod in the upward position will have some flooding. Hold the mod in more of a horizontal position eased the flooding.
(Rebuilt Coils) Using a good size cotton wick is even better.

I use store bought Peaches and Cream when I did my experiment. Very interesting...
