ProTank 3 - First Tank Through - Observations

Just got my ProTank 3 in today from myfreedomSmokes.com

I have now finished one tankful of my usual all day vape as of late, Hangsen 3&5, which is 90% pg/10% vg as best I can tell.

First thing I want to say, this is the first large capacity bottom coil tank I have used that DIDN'T give me any gurgling at all through out the whole tank capacity. Everything I have tried that is higher capacity then an EVOD or Kanger T3-S has given me gurgles almost guaranteed after it goes below half full.

I was actually able to vape the whole tank from top to bottom without a single gurgle or dry hit, awesome!

Coil reads out at 2.0 ohms on my MVP 2.

I am hitting this tank at the full output power of the MVP 2, and it is working great.

I kind of feel like it could benefit from being hit with even more power then the MVP2 can deliver, but at 5 V or 11 W output it hits nice.


It has a very airy draw, which I have always preferred, ESPECIALLY with dual coils, but I will say it is on the edge of being to airy, any more and I would be plugging some holes.


So far I am loving it, best vape I have had yet from a large capacity tank, but I have a Kayfun Lite clone coming in later this week weee vape mail!

Threw the PT-3 on my Darwin so I could hit it with more watts, this thing hits fantastic with the max 12.7 watts from the Darwin.

How's the flavor out of it? I've heard arguments that it's not too great.

Second tank through, again no gurgling, no dry hits, no leaks.

Flavor is great as far as I can tell, I can't say it's any less then my EVOD, Kanger T3S or Vision Victory tank.

For what its worth, I like very lightly flavored juices. In fact I use most vendors ejuice as flavoring in my more bland (and cheap) Hangsen stuff, just add a few drops to a half ml to a tank to get a light flavoring.

If anything I think the PT3 might actually expose more of the flavor that is in my juice than the other 3 mentioned bottom coil clearos.

Once again though, this thing needs a good amount of power to really shine.

I'm still working on my first tank and all I can say is WOW. I have the same 100% VG juice in an Itaste a protank2. The flavor from the protank 3 is so much better. I'm running my favorite RY4 juice in all three tanks and so far I'm really impressed with the pro tank 3.

On my fourth tank now, not a single dry hit, gurgle, leak or flood.

This is hands down the most reliable large capacity bottom coil tank/clearo I have used yet.

Got a Kayfun Lite clone coming in today though, will be interesting to compare.


I also want to test running a PT-2 single coil in the PT3, because if it works as well as the dual coil (no gurgling), I may actually prefer it.
