I recently bought a Protank 3 and a itaste vv. I can't get good vapor out of the Protank. When I put an Evod tank on the itaste it works awesome. I've tried turning the voltage up but it just seems to taste burnt, and still doesn't put out the vapor that the evod does.

havent used the pt3 myself but if the evod does the job for you then use it

plus i hate how heavy the protank is on something like an itaste vv

Are you flush mounting it to your mod? I have the same issue with the protank 2s. Don't own the v3 but they are similar in design minus the dual coil head. The protanks are notorious for airflow due to that the air channels are not cut right with the device while the air holes themselves are at the 510 connection. So if you are screwing the tank flush to the mod, its probably cutting off airflow. The evod has the airflow around the base, so it is not on the 510, causing threading to cut off airflow

I also have a number of protanks, which I love, in spite of some of their quirks. Sometimes, the atomizer units are not the best and provide lousy vapor brand new out of the box. The nice thing is, the atomizers are inexpensive, and can be rebuilt to your preferred setup.

The first thing I would check is the voltage, as previously mentioned. The Kangers prefer the lower voltages. Another issue is the e-liquid used. They will not handle mostly VG liquids well, and if you are using mostly VG, you may need to thin it for the Kanger to wick properly. When set up correctly with the right juice, it should produce clouds of vapor.
