I was shocked when I founnd out they had the tops for only $4. Wonder if they will restock at that price, like you said makes no sense to buy the full protank.

They had them listed for 2.99 a few weeks ago and then raised it to 3.99 so your guess is as good as mine.

And at worst if they fall apart at least I have 5 protank bases, thats if they fit the kanger pro and they are good. I seen one place had just the base for $11.00.

I know about DV, I've posted about them having the $2. base. That link was about someone that brought a base and posted that link, I would just buy the full protank befor paying $11. for just the base.

Eric at DV will have more bases in this week. Maybe you need to read better ?
