So got me some cable wick today and tried it on a protank. After a few attempts and basically failing due to low ohms and durablity of a very small cable length i pravailed.

Took some cable and wrapped it in mesh to prevent the ohms from going to low. Everytime I attached the wire to the cable it was going to .5 or lower ohms.....my guess is since the cable is steel and is very conductive it was essentially acting as additional wire and not a wick.

So wrapped some mesh around it and did a micro coil on it with 28 gauge wire and viola......2.2 ohms and vaping like a champ. better than a cotton build too which i have used for a long time now.

Also to prevent flooding i used two strands of silica to close off the gap between the post and the attomizer body........

Here are some pictures and will do a more detailed build with pictures once i build another one......

Never seen anyone do this so figure i would share this......

vapor production....
