I recived today my first Protank, i didn,t liked how much airy is. I have read that evod heads can help and i have a couple of new heads in my desk, do i need to just replace one with the other or do i need to put the long air tube from protank head into evod head? Any advice to make my protank no so airy

I changed out the whole head on mine and didnt seem to make any difference to me. some have said you can break off a toothpick in the holes in the base of the tank (where it threads into your device at the 510 connection) and tighten up the draw. its not that big of a deal to me and havent tried that. I have found that some juices taste better with the airy draw.

my evods are a bit more airy than my vivi nova. I was hoping my protank would be the same as the evods at least close..... But is too much airy in compare to evods. At first i didnt liked my evods because of that (too aire compare with vivi novas) but in just a couple of days i started to like them, now in just my short time vaping they are by far the best vape im getting

I have my VAMO to be delivered tomorrow,,, gosh my protank will be more airy ? I think that i will let my protank for my twist and get something new for the vamo looking into the RSST that think looks like is made for the vamo also looks like could be my first RBA since look very easy to do.

Back in the protank i was thinking on just put some epoxy to close the air channels or some lead with my soldering kit

Just try swapping out heads and see if it makes a difference. The hole in the EVOD shaft is smaller so it might tighten up the hit. Good luck. :)

Do i need to cange the air tube of the head, put the longer one from protank head, or just use the evod head like that?

I have read that people have had success with the evod head as is, and with the evod head with the protank tube on it. I would assume that the evod tube would provide a tighter draw still.

The EVOD heads provide the tighter draw because the air tube is a smaller diameter. Having said that, the exterior diameter is also much smaller than the KPT air tube which I believe contributes to the KPT leaking onto the battery more. So I'm not convinced the EVOD heads are "just as good" in the KPT. I dont think you can put the tube from one head to the other head as they're different diameter tubes. Haven't tried though.

As far as the draw, it does help the draw to stick the tip of a toothpick in 2 of the intake holes. Others have wrapped a sewing thread around the post a few times, just above the threads. Personally, I'm wondering if the toothpicks were also contributing to the leaking I was seeing.

If you're on an EGO or Spinner, with the provided collar, you can wrap your index finger around the back, sealing up 2 of the channels, and push the button with your thumb. This will at least demonstrate the difference in the draw.

Im using my protank in the twist, because of the ring blocking holes with fingers, in my vamo there is no way to do that,, i will try with evod head to see what hapend with either tube shaft, i saw a video on you tube that a guy put the KPT head tube into EVOD head...

So far only couple of days with the protank and i feel will go to my dust collectors items.

Ah that's unfortunate. Some folks really like the airy draw, I'm one of those. And ya, I'm 99.9% sure the head tubes will be the main difference in any of the heads, hopefully including the T3S when that comes out.

Just use the Evod head as it is and flip the cup seal upside down. You should get better flavor. Also, the KPT head fits in my EVOD, I just tried it. Good luck. :)

the air tubes can indeed be swapped, but i find that the evod heads give me an odd taste compared to the stock protank heads, nothing metallic or chemical that i can detect, may be a different silica? but I'm not sure lol got used to the taste of my genesis
