I have a PT3, got it yesterday. Aspire should arrive tomorrow, so i can give you a comparison then.

So far, not a fan of the PT3. I like that its glass, solid construction, big capacity. I *dont* like the ultra airy draw!!! I mean, its like breathing through a 1/2" straw. Too airy- makes the hits cool and weak. Ive tightened the beauty ring up and restricted airflow as much as possible by that method, better but still sucks to me.

Vapor production is just OK- no better than my trusty ol' EVOD (which i like better, actually).

OK in follow up to my above post- I got the BDC today. Head and shoulders beats the PT3. The PT3 is more sturdy/solid, made of heavier material/glass. But- the vapor, flavor, draw of the BDC just blows away the PT3.

The PT3 is usable and Ill probably use it here and there. But no contest- BDC wins!

The jury is still out for me. I absolutely love the Aspire heads when they're fresh and new, but I've burnt 2 of them so far, and once they're burnt, they don't clear up. One of them fired in my pocket on an eGo 650, so that was on me. but the other one had a bad connection at the 510 pin, which caused vapor production to drop periodically, which caused me to crank up the power, which pretty much killed the one coil that was firing. (I pulled the cap off to confirm the one dead coil) I'm on my third one now, and it's doing really well with really thick Boba's from this cold weather we're having. The one great thing about the Aspire is that I've yet to have one leak at the 510 connection. That alone is a huge selling point for me, I hate leaky tanks!

I've had zero issues with my aspire bdc vivi nova pyrex tank. Been using the same head for nearly three weeks. I'm not sure why some people are having problems.

What juice are you using? I mean, do you know the PG/VG ratio? Like others have mentioned, I suspect the thicker juices may be the cause of my issues. I really want these to work for me, but there's no way I can handle burnt juice.

After a week or so using both interchangeably (PT3 / Aspire)... this is not an open and shut clear winner.

Ive gotten used to the PT3 draw and actually find it beneficial somewhat- still gives off great vapor. Its way better built and is easier to fill, larger capacity, etc. The Aspire however just has something the PT3 doesnt, cant put my finger on it. Bottom line- i like both and if i had to pick one and only one today it would be a tough call.

I've used 50/50 (90% of the juices I use), 100% VG chocolate mint and 80% PG 20% VG Rock Party Energy from MBV. Aside from cloud density I haven't noticed a performance difference.

However, I have seen a common theme. Most complaints I've seen have been regarding the ET-S and not the Vivi Nova style. Could be a coincidence. Might be something to it too. Air intake may be different between the two.

My mini nova S performs excellently. However the plastic CE5 does not. The center tube is slightly bent off center and this caused it not to line up with the head perfectly. Lots of leaking. Just felt cheap. The glass mini nova bdc however has been in constant use for a week and not one issue.

OK, after another two weeks with the PT3 and the Aspire as my only tanks in rotation... I have to say the PT3 is now the favorite.

Ive got two Aspires- the Nova S and Mini Nova S. BOTH have had occasional gurgling, juice coming thru to my mouth. And the coils seem extremely inconsistent. Ive had some last only 10 minutes before sending hot chunks into my mouth and then giving off an extremely foul burnt/smokey vapor.

The PT3 on the other hand- while not quite as good as a working Aspire at vapor production- ALWAYS gives better flavor and just slightly less throat hit. But the killer is that in 3-4 weeks with both, the PT3 has had ZERO problems. Not one burnt hit, not one short-lived head, and absolutely no gurgling or flooding. After I finish out my existing stash of BDC heads, im just going to stick with the PT3.

I'm starting to feel the same way about the Aspire coils. When they're good, they're really good. But I'm getting pretty tired of the burnt flavor for no appearant reason. I'm thinking there must be a problem at the 510 connection, and all the power is going to a single coil on occasion, but how would you prove that?...actually, why bother?

I've found the same thing with the Aspire, inconsistent heads. Some are really good and some are really bad. From what I've read you probably need an airflow controller with the Aspire. But then I don't think that would do anything for the inconsistent heads.

Haven't tried the PT3 yet. Right now I still prefer my PT2s and carto tanks.

Yeah, I already am using an airflow controller. Doesnt seem to help...

I had a PT2, and hated it. Ordered a PT3, and an aspire http://........com/na7me7y <-- this one. As others have said. The draw is seriously tight in that little monster. But flavor is good. I was all about my Eovd tanks. But the wife stole them all. PT3 works very well now that i've added 2 extra flavor wicks. Little airy draw. But no serious problems with it. my .02

I currently use all Aspire BDC I have 2 Mini Nova and 4 ET-S and I love them except that the coils seem to burn up faster then any other tanks I have used. I drilled out the air holes on the ET-S and get a nice smooth vape at 4.2v. My only other complaint is with the 100% VG they do not seem to wick quickly enough and the cloud is not any better then a 50/50 mix. I would recommend the Aspire to anyone but I would tell them to pick up a blister pack of atomizers at the same time. I am going to be getting some T-Dux 3.0 tanks with the large groove for my 100% VG flavors.
