Protank question...

What battery can anyone recommend for the protank? It's 510 right, so I can get an ego 510 battery or just a 510? My goal is to find a variable volt with a LCD screen that shows what volt I'm at and battery life. I've put out so
much effort into finding the right liquids and clearos that I'm slacking in battery knowledge. Thanks!

You can use it w/ an ego but the heads that come w/ it are 2.2 and 2.4 ohms I think which is a little high for an ego but when the replacement heads come out you'll be able to get em @ 1.8ohms which is perfect. I wouldn't use a regular 510 batt w/ it but I guess you could.

VV mod w/ lcd you're looking at a vamo, lavatube, zmax, evic and a few others. provari if u have the $. also some box mods like the vv gripper and ovale v8 altho my v8 doesn't show batt life just volts and ohms. you could also forego the screen completely and get an ego twist or vision spinner if you want something cheap to use w/ any protank head for now until you're able to do a lil more research.

Thanks! I figured the heads it comes with wouldnt work too well with a regular ego. Ill do some reading on the lavatube, vamo, and zmax. I feel like if i get a spinner or twist im gonna end up researching these and wanting something more detailed so might as well save the cash for... One of those lol

The Vamo is pretty cheap, and is very good for the price, plus you have the ability to stack 18350s, use an 18650, and use one 18350, and for the price, between $40 to $50, you really can't go wrong.

Thanks darkhood! I missed this post the other day but I appreciate this!! I punked out and bought a ego vv with the LCD display from Apollo lol but I plan on getting a mod in the very near future and this list I'd prob gonna make the decision for me so thank you! I've spend the last few days helping 2 of my closest friends pick out some starter vaping supplies and now it's on to researching my first mod oh and I just read your protank review in another thread, sounds beautiful! Lol hopefully we can get some replacement heads soon!

Omg! I should be banned from vaping! And def grounding myself from spending any money on a mod since I had to buy (preorder) a new protank. Seriously I got to enjoy it for about 3 minutes when I reached for my glass of water that's on the floor and knocked my whole setup onto the glass. Clank! And... I probably have the first official damage to the all mighty kanger protank! I'm speechless with myself right now so maybe someone here should tell at me.

It has a small, like tiny tiny hairline type of crack that's not leaking at all and it's been like 20 minutes. Im still using until it starts to leak. As long as there's no chip of the Pyrex missing I won't actually inhale any right? Lol ugh that sounds so dumb I can't believe I even asked!
