So, my fasttech X10 clone arrived yesterday. Overall, it's a great looking tank and seems to perform at the level of the ProTank II.
My Vamo drives the tank just fine. However, no matter what Ego style battery I attach it to, it does not work. My most trusty Ego battery flashes three times and refuses to fire, which means that battery thinks it's short circuited. My Evod battery won't fire it at all.
So, I added my Protank I beauty ring and tried again. No go, again.
So, I added an air flow controller that I had bought to fix the cosmetic issue of carto tanks on my Vamo and tried again. Boom. Fired up and vaping.
What gives? Why is my Vamo, which is supposed to be "smarter" than the Ego stick batteries, firing the X10 just fine but the Ego batteries don't work without some sort of 510 to 510 adapter?
