I got my protank today! Weee! So, I have a question. I have heard some back and forth about EVOD atty's being compatible with the protank. Anyone know if it's true? I have about 15 evod attys so that would rock. Looks wise the evod atty has a smaller shaft, so i don't know if it's going to be a problem

I saw on a vender site that the evod is compatable with the pro. The pro shaft is a bit longer, which they say tightens the draw. I have no experiance with either, but I am thinking of ordering an EVOD. What is your opinion of it?

You can remove the atty top on the eVod and swap it for the Protank if you want things to stay the same, or go with the eVod top and get a tighter draw, either way is good!

The eVods are very nice, I have 12 and they are easy to maintain and give a good vape!

Not always. Many people have been successful at swapping the included Protank heads out for spare eVod heads they had lying around. I, on the other hand, have only had 1 out of all my spare eVod heads work in my Protank. Even then, that one head caused leaking within the first few hits because the gaskets are different sizes between the two. Some people prefer the thicker gaskets on the eVod heads because it restricts airflow, but as many others have figured out in the pursuit of a tighter draw, altering the airflow that was intended for the device leads to leaking more often than not.

If you already have spare eVod heads to use, give it a try in case you find it works for you. Otherwise, I wouldn't spend money on a pack of heads that you only intend to use in your Protank.

As the theme of this forum tends to go: YMMV.

Have both and others, prefer the EVOD, the small juice volume is annoying, but it seem to preform better than all the other BCCs I have tried.

It's not the air shaft (which may or may not affect condensation buildup and gurgling), but the thickness of the gasket around the removable head that makes the difference in the airiness of the draw. Thicker eVod gaskets restrict airflow, stiffening the draw.

eVods are my go-to backups for my Protank. They perform just about the same, but I like the larger tank capacity and Pyrex for corrosive juices.
