Protank Question

I thought I had a great way to carry extra tanks in my purse but it turns out not so good. The bottom pin that needs to make contact with the battery has gotten pushed in a bit and is no longer working. I have read of this happening and I know I need to pull it out but how? There is very little room and I don't know what to use. Any suggestions?

The bottom "pin" in the Protank is actually the bottom part of the coil. The coil may just need to be screwed in a little tighter. If that's not it, the bottom metal pin can be eased out a little using a small pair of pliers. (After you remove it from the base of course )

Don't. I did a re-call today for a repair I did on a piece of equipment. Seems as though I "forgot" to tighten something and it dumped a couple of gallons of reagent alcohol onto the floor. Oops! Fortunately, the customer was very understanding, and she had called me directly so my boss doesn't know.

I guess this sort of thing happens often. I can't believe I didn't think to remove the coil though. Working great again, now I just have to figure out another way to carry spare tanks in my purse.

I use old prescription bottles for my tanks. I also use them to store them when Im not using them. I put the little white plug in it and seal it up and put it by the bottle of juice I got in it.

Those old plastic film holders should work.
Walmart photo department tosses them out all the time.

I have a plastic case that I used but the problem is they move and the end gets"bumped" causing the pin in the coil to move. I like having filled tanks ready but for now I will just carry juice bottle, coils and protanks separate until I find a better solution. The same would happen with film containers or prescription bottles.
