Protank Unitank - Unusual Taste

Has anyone else found that when they use the Protank Unitank that the juice has an unusual flavor? Like the plastic might be altering the taste of the juice? I use regular protanks usually but I really like my Unitank and hate to get rid of it.

My unitank seems to be consistent with my other protanks, which have all been flawless.

Might have something to do with the type of juice you are using since the unitank is not a glass tank???

The plastic tank seems extremely durable. Maybe I just put the wrong kind of juice in it when it shouldn't have. I will try again with a replacement plastic tank. Plus I will take the juice I have in it out now. It could be that it just needs a better cleaning as well.

Could it be similar to the trouble I used to have with ProTanks?
They always tasted "metallic" to me - until I finally, after many other efforts, WASHED THEM WITH SOAP.
It was some kind of machine oil, I'm convinced. Since them, they're all good...

I have recently started tasting a "plasticky" taste as well. I changed juices to a Cinamon Menthol for a bit and when I switched back to my tobacco I noticed it. I also taste with the Cinamon Menthol as well. I washed the tank, changed the wicks and still the same. Sometimes it is worse then others, may have to get another tank

I like the design of my Unitank, but that's where it ends. The Unitank has always muted, changed, or even removed all flavor from my juices ... I MUCH prefer my PT2, or iSmoka BCC ... I'm also trying the Davide BDC right now and so far so good. YMMV!
