Protank wick

Im curious if anyone knows the best silica wick size to rebuild a protank head.

I use one 1.5 mm to wrap the coil with and a few strand of silica wick for flavor keep it at around 1.8 ohms 4 wrap with 32 gauge hope this helps

i used 3mm silica,32 gauge kanthal a-1 about 4 to 5 wraps gets about 1.8-2.2 ohms. 3-4 strands as flavor wicks for thing juices, or 2 strands for thick jucies.

I fold/loop a piece of 1mm to make 4 wicks - don't try to cut it into 4 small pieces! - and wrap my coil, 6 wraps of 32 AWG Kanthal D, around it.
Then I fit it into the Protank head, make sure everything is okay, and then I cut off the excess silica. I've successfully built a handful of Protank coils like that so far

3 mm silica or boiled cotton works for me, no flavor strands on top either. I vape 60/40 blends tho.

Not at all. I have had it for around a month and is my go-to rig when im outside. The vapor production is probably even better than my Genensis tanks, so it attracts a lot of attention when i blow clouds and clouds of vapor. That means i have more opportunities to introduce vaping to others and get them off smoking.
