Ok, so I have an Evod And Protank, rebuilding coils exactly the same way. 1.2ohms is my sweet spot. Just what I like. Use 3mm silica and 32 A-1 Kanthal with 2 unwound strands of silica for flavor wicks. These are tiny, maybe 1mm at most. Protank Hits nice and airy, and EVOD is really tight even without flavor wicks. Can anyone help, maybe air hole issue? Can't figure this one out.

If you are using original Evod heads:
The head is thicker in the 510 connection(less air flow around head)
The center hole is smaller
The head pipe has a smaller inside diameter
The wick slot on all is set for 2mm not 3mm wick
Flavor wicks ARE 1mm from factory

Evod was not designed to have the airy draw of Protank.
If you want, use a Protank Head in the Evod for a slightly lighter draw

Use PT heads in both but it's like sucking through a stirring straw
